I'm an architect by qualification and a CG Artist by profession. I started using 3D as a design tool during my architectural study days, to study the effects of light and shadow on different forms, to study how different texture and finishes can change entirely the look and style of design. By the time I completed architecture, I was so interested in visualization that I decided to pursue my career in it. I really enjoy working on lighting. I like to create moody environments as you will see in many of my personal projects. I find photographs showing interesting shades, shadows & lights very inspiring. I like to collect such photographs and enjoy recreating some of them in CG when I feel like experimenting. I find it a good challenge that helps to enhance both your creative & technical skills.
Apart from CG, I am very passionate about traveling, especially to places of historical relevance. I like to study and collect articles on ancient civilizations. When I am at home, and not doing 3D or sleeping, you will find me playing computer games. The AOE series, Warcraft III, Ceasar III, Diablo II are some of my favorites. I love listening to music. I just can't work without music, so its always playing at my office and home. I like learning and exploring new things whether it is a new software or technology, or simply trying out a new cuisine in an unknown restaurant. - Resume
